Orange Screw® is a family owned business based in Bingen, Washington in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge. We are a team of active outdoor enthusiasts with backgrounds in business and design - we prefer life outside. We are highly driven and motivated but that won't stop us from taking a mid-day nap in a hammock. We like to sleep in tents and in the back of trucks. We enjoy canoeing while watching the colors and shadows change across the surface of a mountain lake. We do our best work wearing flip flops while surrounded by fresh air and clean water.
Sometimes we howl at the full moon and encourage others to join in. Will you howl with us?
The Gorge is known as a world class recreational mecca that provides phenomenal testing grounds for new outdoor products. Skiing fresh powder, biking buffed out singletrack, kayaking tall waterfalls, foiling glassy river swell, and drinking craft beer all happen here - often in the same day.
But it's the wind...It's windy here, really windy. Wind is the main enemy of any ground anchor or tent stake and that's what inspired us to create the Orange Screw® ground anchor.
